NAILS!

Right girls it's time to ditch the dull, single nail colour look and to get creative! YES it's nail art time!

I keep seeing the most amazing pictures of nail art all over tumblr and I'm always in ore of them. Some of these nails and designs I see are amazing! Honestly, I look down at my short, pretty mediocre nails and almost frown with jealously. So, I've come to the conclusion I either need to get learning nail art pretty quick, invest in some profesh nail polishes and equipment or I can search Ebay and hopefully purchase some super cute falsies... Knowing me it will probably be the third option. haha.

Anyways, I've collected some of my favorite nail designs to give me and you some inspiration. I've even found some creepy cool Halloween inspired designs, so take a look and then get painting!

Rita ORA!

So last week I saw the stunning blonde bombshell Rita Ora in concert and I have to say she was AHHmazing, not only vocally but also in the style stakes as well. From early this year I've been following her rapid journey to fame as a singer and also as a trend setter for young girls everywhere. Firstly, I think she's super beautiful like OMG I can't even look at her for more than a minute but I also love how distinct and quirky she is in her dress sense; she isn't afraid to push the boundaries. I swear on stage last week she was wearing a pink latex apron, like who else but Rita can pull that off?!? In fact she can go from super glam red carpet hot to a casual/sport luxe diva in like 0.6 seconds and can look absolutely incredible in anything. She could make a bin bag look sexy and that right there is why I love her! She's my official style crush of this year and so in appreciation to Rita I've posted quite a few of my favorite looks below. Enjoy! (got a bit carried away)

Join the fashion army.

Attention! 1 2 3 4 5 military style is being revived! Okay so maybe we're not actually members of the army but with the introduction of khaki prints and army jackets being launched into many of our favourite high street stores I have to say I'm finding it hard not to jump on the military bandwagon. Camouflaged and khaki prints are far from girly chic but to me offer a cool grunge look to casual outfit. So I decided to find some of my favorite army jackets on the high street. My favorite is definitely Topshop's plain army jacket (below), perfect for everyday use and at a warm £48 I'll probably have to do a little bit of saving before I can snap this one up. Pastels, Peaches and Spring.

It may not have officially arrived yet but the stores seem to be welcoming the arrival of spring early. Pastel colours, greys, creams and dip dyed fabrics seemed to have dressed the shop windows after the gradual end to the winter sales and I must say I quite like it. Yes, it may be bitter cold outside but inside the stores it's a rainbow of fresh spring colours and I think it's time to start preparing for the pre-summer season. I'm going to Venice at Easter and I'm making sure my case is full of pretty pastels and glitter. Well... that's if my mum decides to help fund my pre-holiday shopping spree. Haha.  Now go shop!

Fail

So, a couple of months ago I posted how I was no longer able to shop at Topshop and how I was going to have to trade the top end apparel for more affordable items in charity shops.. remember? Well, let's just say that decision failed. I mean who was I kidding, even if I didn't have any money I could never turn my back on Topshop. It just wouldn't be ethical! Haha. Topshop to me is like a haven, a place where I feel at home and you should never turn your back on home! Plus I've been eyeing up these beauties for months (see below). They're called Vectra studded slippers. I think they're really pretty but edgy and they come in cream! Does anyone want to buy me a pair?!
